Mother’s “Love” Soup

Ingredients:

4 potatoes
1 onion
1 (10 oz) canned of Margaret Holmes of tomatoes, okra, and corn
1 can Margaret Holmes Succotash
2 tbsp. Sugar or sweetener (optional)

Recipe Instructions:

Peel, wash, and quarter potatoes and onion. Cook until tender with just enough water to cover. Add canned chicken, breaking up chicken into pieces. Add sugar to your taste. Simmer 15 – 20 minutes. Serve with hot biscuits, corn muffins, or crackers (more chicken stock can be added to dumplings- also Texas Pete for extra kick). Now doesn’t that taste like “Mothers Love?”
