Seafood and Crab Gumbo

Ingredients:

1 can of She Crab Soup
1 can of Margaret Holmes Okra
1 large can sweet onion
1 can of Margaret Holmes tomatoes
1 tbsp. creole seasoning
1 tbsp. of Texas Pete hot sauce
1 pkg. Audioule sausage
1 pkg. chicken legs (8 pieces)
3 cans of chicken broth
1 pkg. of crab legs (2 lbs) preferable blue crab (steamed)
1 large bell pepper
1 tsp. gumbo file
2 tbsp. flour
2 lbs. shrimp

Recipe Instructions:

Brown sausage in a large pot.  Once the sausage has browned about 5 minutes add chicken broth, chicken, chopped onions and chopped bell pepper along with all seasonings.  Bring to a roaring boil.  Once boiling reduce heat until the chicken is done.  Add the okra and the she crab soup.  Cook for another 20 minutes.  Remove about ½ cup of the broth from the gumbo and mix with the flour until smooth.  Add the flour/broth mixture back to the pot.  Add the remaining items which include all of the seafood.  Cook until shrimp turn pink about 10 – 15 minutes.  Serve with steamed rice.
