Southern BBQ Beans
Ingredients:
1 16-ounce can pork and beans, drained and rinsed
1 15-1/4-ounce can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 14 1/4-ounce can lima beans, drained and rinsed
3/4 cup ketchup
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt to taste
Recipe Instructions:
reheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sauté onion and garlic in butter. Add ketchup, sugar, cider vinegar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well blended. Pour into a large casserole dish and add other ingredients and stir to combine. Place in hot oven and bake for one hour.
