The South’s Italian Beef
Ingredients:
3 lbs. of Top Round
1 cup water
1 garlic bulb, chopped
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/3 cup of parsley
½ medium onion, cut into diced pieces
1 can Margaret Holmes tomatoes, okra, and corn
Texas Pete hot sauce
Recipe Instructions:
Put meat in a large pan and add 1 cup of water. Stick garlic cloves inside meat on top. Dizzle olive oil on top of the meat then add parsley all over meat. Add onions all over the parsley. Cook on stove for 3-4 hours on medium heat to make it very tender. Check during cooking if more water is needed. About ½ hour before done add the can of Margaret Holmes. Then add roasted peppers and drizzle Texas Pete hot sauce on meat as well.
