Ingredients

  • 2 cans Margaret Holmes Seasoned Mixed Greens, drained well (14.5 oz each)
  • 1 lb sausage, cooked and crumbled (pork or turkey)
  • 1 double pie crust (top and bottom)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, drained Margaret Holmes Mixed Greens, eggs, and cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Line a pie dish with one crust and fill with the sausage and greens mixture.
  • Cover with the second crust; crimp edges to seal and cut small slits on top for venting.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.
  • Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
