Mixed Greens & Sausage Pie

A savory pie filled with seasoned greens and sausage,turning sides into a centerpiece.
Cook Time 40 minutes mins
- 2 cans Margaret Holmes Seasoned Mixed Greens, drained well (14.5 oz each)
- 1 lb sausage, cooked and crumbled (pork or turkey)
- 1 double pie crust (top and bottom)
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup heavy cream
- salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, drained Margaret Holmes Mixed Greens, eggs, and cream. Season with salt and pepper.
Line a pie dish with one crust and fill with the sausage and greens mixture.
Cover with the second crust; crimp edges to seal and cut small slits on top for venting.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.
Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
